We reached our goal! JVC is Climate School GOLD!
As you may have already noticed, Jules Verne Campus was recently awarded the title "Klimaschule Bayern" (Climate School Bavaria) with the gold award! On Thursday, September 28, the time had finally come and both our JVC Elementary School and the JVC Grammar School were officially honoured by the Minister of Education Prof. Dr. Michael Piazolo and Minister of the Environment Thorsten Glauber, in the Allerheiligen-Hofkirche in Munich.
Of the 51 Bavarian schools honoured, only two Munich schools received the highest gold award, including our Campus, as a shining example of environmental protection and sustainability!
The beautiful event at this picturesque and historic location was especially enriched by our three current learning partners, who presented our projects with a lot of intelligence, acumen and eloquence to a very large and renowned audience. Bravo!
Once again, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all learning partners, dedicated learning guides and, of course, the JVC families who have recognised the importance of climate protection and set an example through their commitment to innovative climate protection and sustainability projects in everyday school and home life!
This award is a recognition of our tireless commitment and hard work to protect our planet and preserve it for future generations. Great job!
