Triple Cup! We Won the Basketball Elementary School Cup Again!

It’s our third basketball title after 2018, 2019 and now 2022! The last two years, the tournament couldn’t take place because of Corona. The Jules Verne Campus Elementary School Basketball team won three games to be crowned Munich Champions for the third year in a row!

The JVC team started with a 6:4 victory against team Garching 1, and then they played in the second game confidently against Garching 2 with 7:0. In the final, it came to an exciting encounter against the team Garching 3, which had been leading until then and had scored more baskets. In a thrilling game, our team could win 4:2. The team gathered around our team captain Carl, full of team spirit and commitment. We are very happy that after the Corona break such competitions are possible again! A big thank you to the organizing elementary school Garching North and the Bavarian Basketball Association! We would like to participate in the newly founded Elementary School Cup again next year with a little more prep time. Congratulations to all participants – celebrate success, we are so very proud of you!
