Jules Verne Campus becomes an Environmental School in Europe!

We are pleased to announce that Jules Verne Campus Elementary and Grammar School have received the "Eco-School in Europe / International Sustainability School" award for the 2022/2023 school year. We are very pleased about this and are proud of our JVC school community and learning partners! We’d also like to thank everyone involved in the many projects and measures to improve sustainability on Campus.

The jury – consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Culture, the Agency for Food Products from Bavaria (ALP) and the Landesbund für Vogel- und Naturschutz in Bayern e.V. (LBV) – has once again acknowledged our efforts on Campus.

A certificate and flag will be proudly presented in our foyer soon. To honor the commitment of the environmental schools, an award ceremony is planned for Spring 2024 in the presence of the Bavarian Minister of the Environment, the Bavarian Minister of Education and the LBV Chairman. Together with all award-winning environmental schools, there will be a ceremony as well as a "Market of Opportunities" in which Jules Verne Campus will participate. We will inform you about the exact date, the place and further details.

We’re looking forward to continued excellence and commitment to sustainability at JVC. This journey into a more environmentally-friendly future for our children has just begun!
