Great Gold Expedition – Duke of Edinburgh Award

In September, our dedicated learning partners from the Sun learning group embarked on a four-day hiking adventure through the Palatinate Forest —organized completely independently!

They pitched tents at remote trekking sites, built campfires under the stars, spotted wildlife, and collected litter to protect nature. But what truly stood out was their exceptional teamwork: They navigated trails together, shared responsibilities, supported each other through challenges, and made group decisions with care and respect. Everyone contributed their strengths—whether it was navigating, cooking, or motivating the group. It was real-life application of the Future Skills we learn at JVC. A true Gold-level achievement — and a memory for life!
